Hi I’m Travis.

Meinolf Weaving School continues a lifelong project of connecting to people and discovering new relationships to the process of weaving. After years of working with groups of people in the US and EU, learning to weave in public and through institutions like libraries, museums and schools, it made sense to found my own small community weaving center. The first priority here is engagement with materials and tools in a way that is satisfying, whether it is using a back strap or frame loom for the first time or making complex weave structures on a floor loom. I have collected various types of looms and am ready to support individuals and groups creating cloth together.
